Nutty Chocolate Bites

Updated: Apr 3, 2023

A quick fix to that sweet craving! Perfect bite size nutty goodness with a hint of sea salt and black pepper.

A good quality dark chocolate, some dry fruits, crushed sea salt and crushed black pepper elevates these nutty bites into a sweet and salty treat with a hint of heat.

Nutty Chocolate Bites

Let's get nutty!

  • ½ cup Almonds

  • 1/2 cup walnuts

  • 1/2 cup pecans

  • 1/4th cup raisins

  • 1/4th cup cranberries

  • 1/4th tsp sea salt

  • 1/8th tsp of Black Pepper

  • 1 cup of dark chocolate* *I used 70% dark , but you can even mix up some dark and some semi sweet.

Let's get melty..

  1. Line a square glass dish with parchment paper. I used a rectangle one.

  2. Chop, or hand pound all the nuts. You can pulse it in the blender but I like the chunky texture, after hand pounding the nuts.

  3. Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave. Stirring occasionally till all the chips melt.

  4. Add the nuts and mix it well. Pour and spread in the lined dish.

  5. Sprinkle in the raisins and cranberries.

  6. Sprinkle the crushed pepper and sea salt.

  7. Let it set till the chocolate begins to harden.

  8. Cut in squares once cooled down and store in air tight containers.

  9. Devour every time you need a little chocolate boost, all with the good stuff:)

What do you think about this recipe? Would you try it out? Anything you feel you could add to this to make it even more fun? I say, put anything in chocolate and it tastes good! Yay or nay?
